Jaguars' Tyler Shatley: Staying in Jacksonville
The Jaguars re-signed Shatley on Friday.
Not all of the details of the deal are known at this point, but Shatley is now poised to spend at least next season in Jacksonville - his 11th straight year with the team. The Jaguars will likely seek to add talent at offensive line during the upcoming draft, but Shatley figures to at least provide veteran depth to the interior of the unit in 2024.

Head coach Doug Pederson noted Thursday that Shatley, who has been dealing with a heart issue, has been cleared and will be able to return to practice, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Shatley was limited to sideline work for most of training camp after suffering atrial fibrillation in early August. Now that he's been cleared, he'll slot into a backup guard role behind Ben Bartch and Brandon Scherff.

Jaguars' Tyler Shatley: Dealing with heart issue
Shatley suffered atrial fibrillation during earlier this week and is not expected to practice despite being "fine," according to head coach Doug Pederson, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
AFib, as it's more commonly known, deals with the irregular rhythm in the heart. Head coach Doug Pederson said the offensive lineman is "fine" and that "everything has calmed down," but he also acknowledged that Shatley wouldn't be cleared for a while and instead would work on the sideline during practice. Shatley was expected to compete for one of the interior starting spots on the Jaguars' offensive line.

Shatley is expected to be fine according to Long, although there are no specifics as to what the issue may be. Once healthy, Shatley should return to working to earn a depth role on the Jaguars' offensive line.
