  • Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Returns to practice

Reynolds (hand) returned to practice Wednesday as a full participant, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

The Broncos placed Reynolds on injured reserve Oct. 12 due to a fractured finger. He then suffered minor injuries in a shooting a week later, but that doesn't seem to have affected his return timeline, with the Broncos having designated him for an IR return when first eligible. Denver now has a 21-day window in which Reynolds can practice with the team without being placed on the active roster. He may be activated before Sunday's game against the Falcons, in which case he would be a threat to take snaps away from Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele.

  • Broncos' Josh Reynolds: On mend after shooting

The Broncos announced Thursday that Reynolds (finger) was the victim of a shooting in Denver on Oct. 18 and received treatment for minor injuries, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Reynolds was fortunate to avoid any life-threatening injuries after he was shot once in his left arm and once in the back of his head shortly after 3 a.m. local time outside of a Denver club, according to Janet Oravetz of 9 News Denver. The wideout was placed on injured reserve Oct. 12 after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured finger, and he won't be eligible to return until at least Week 10. It's unclear if the injuries Reynolds sustained in the shooting will further delay his return to the field.

Coach Sean Payton revealed Monday that Reynolds has a fractured finger, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

Reynolds is on injured reserve until at least Nov. 10 after undergoing surgery on his finger, and Monday's comments clarify the nature of his injury. Rookie Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele have stepped up in complementary roles alongside Courtland Sutton in Reynolds' absence.

  • Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Shifts to IR

Reynolds (hand) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Reynolds underwent finger surgery earlier this week, and as a result won't be eligible to return until early November. The Broncos have a number of wide receivers that could step to replace Reynolds between Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin and Devaughn Vele, but it remains to be seen which of the crew truly stands to operate as the No. 2 behind Courtland Sutton.
