Davis suffered a foot injury during Saturday's preseason loss to the Jets, Kassidy Hill of the Panthers' official site reports.
Davis was hurt on a Jets passing play late in the third quarter and was subsequently carted from the sideline to the locker room. He finished with three tackles (two solo) and a defensed pass in the contest. Davis was a key special-teams player for Carolina last year and will likely reprise that role in 2024 if he makes the 53-man roster.
