Dakota Allen: Works out with Bears
Allen (hamstring) worked out with the Bears on Monday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Allen's 2022 season came to an end in December when he was placed on the Broncos' injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. His workout with the Bears indicates he has moved on from the issue. The 27-year-old is looking for an opportunity to provide depth at linebacker and contribute on special teams.

Broncos' Dakota Allen: Lands on IR
The Broncos placed Allen on injured reserve with a hamstring injury Monday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Allen missed back-to-back games while dealing with a hamstring injury before returning for Sunday's win over the Cardinals, playing 21 special-teams snaps in this contest. However, it appears this issue has continued to plague the 27-year-old, and he'll now be shut down for the remainder of the regular season while on IR. Allen was signed by Denver in late November to help fill in for linebacker Jonas Griffith (ankle), who has yet to return from IR.

Allen was drafted by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2019 Draft and spent his rookie season bouncing between the Rams and Raiders' practice squads before being signed to the Jaguars' active roster. Over the last two seasons, Allen recorded 27 tackles and one forced fumble across 27 appearances.
