Colts' Jerry Tillery: Coming to Indianapolis
Tillery and the Colts agreed to terms on a contract Tuesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
The veteran defensive tackle is headed to Indianapolis following a one-year stint with Kansas City. Across 17 contests in 2025, Tillery logged 374 defensive snaps and tallied 20 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks. He's expected to compete for a reserve role on the defensive line.

Tillery was a reliable depth defensive tackle, playing 17 percent to 52 percent of defensive snaps per game throughout the entire 2025 season. Tillery signed with the Chiefs on Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports.
The defensive tackle appeared in all 17 regular-season games last year and in Minnesota's wild-card playoff loss to the Rams, making 11 starts in the regular season. Tillery finished the 2024 regular season with 28 tackles (15 solo), two pass breakups and a forced fumble. The 2019 first-round pick of the Chargers has started 50 of the 96 regular-season games he's played in during his career, with his career-best season coming in 2021 when he recorded 51 tackles (24 solo), including 4.5 sacks.

Tillery notched 28 tackles (13 solo), two pass breakups and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season appearances with the Vikings in 2024.
Tillery began the 2024 campaign hovering around the range of 50 percent of defensive snaps, but from Week 11 on, his rotational role involved closer to 30 percent of defensive snaps per game.
