Raiders' Andre James: Ruled out for Week 11
James (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
James suffered an ankle injury in Week 8 against the Chiefs, which forced him to be held out for Week 9 against the Bengals. Even with the extra rest courtesy of the Raiders' Week 10 bye, James was unable to practice all week, and he will be sidelined for a third consecutive game as a result. Raiders' Andre James: Stays in Vegas
James re-signed with the Raiders on Sunday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
James' new contract is for three years and worth $24 million with $16 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The 26-year-old has spent the last five seasons with the Franchise and is now set to add a sixth to his resume. James has been the team's starter at center in each of the last three seasons and should have the inside track for the role again in 2024.
