Hamilton (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Philadelphia, Daniel Flick of SI.com reports.
Hamilton was able to log back-to-back limited practices Friday and Saturday, but he hasn't progressed through his groin injury enough to suit up for Week 2. His next chance to suit up will come Week 3 against the Chiefs on Sept. 22.

Hamilton popped up on the Falcons' injury report leading up to Week 1 against the Steelers, which he ended up being ruled out for. His DNP to start the week doesn't bode well for his chances of playing against the Eagles in Week 2, but he has two more opportunities to practice in some capacity. Hamilton appeared in 14 regular-season games for the Cardinals in 2023, finishing with 40 tackles (29 solo), 11 passes defended and one interception.

Hamilton was not listed on Wednesday's injury report, but he popped up as a limited participant Thursday before missing practice entirely Friday. The veteran's next chance to suit up will come Week 2 versus the Eagles on Monday Night Football.

Falcons' Antonio Hamilton: Headed to Atlanta
The Falcons signed Hamilton on Thursday, Amna Subhan of the team's official site reports.
After spending each of the last three seasons with the Cardinals, Hamilton has found a new home in Atlanta. The veteran cornerback has appeared in 98 games (18 starts) across his eight-year NFL career, logging 147 total tackles and 25 passes defended, including two interceptions. Hamilton is expected to compete for a depth role in the Falcons' secondary ahead of the 2024 season.
