Jamal Pettigrew: Waived by LAR
The Rams waived Pettigrew on Tuesday, Matt Lombardo of Heavy on Sports reports.
Pettigrew signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of McNeese State in May, but he's among the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 85-man roster deadline. The 6-foot-7 tight end caught seven passes for 92 yards and one touchdown during his final collegiate campaign and profiles more as a blocker at the NFL level.
