    The Cardinals waived Long (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Howard Balzer of SI.com reports.

    Long was slated to miss the entire 2022 campaign after reverting to the Cardinals' injured reserve list, but he'll now be free to join a new team once he clears waivers. The 25-year-old offensive lineman signed with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue.
