Eric Banks: Waived by Bucs
The Buccaneers waived Banks with an undisclosed injury Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Banks has been dealing with an injury that kept him out of the Bucs' preseason loss against the Jaguars on Saturday. If he clears waivers, Banks will revert to Tampa Bay's injured reserve, which would prevent him playing in 2024 unless an injury settlement is reached between the two sides.

Eric Banks: Works out for Lions
Banks worked out for the Lions on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Banks appears healthy after being waived by Detroit in early September after suffering an undisclosed injury. The defensive tackle played in three games with the Chargers last season, making one tackle while playing 37 snaps with the defensive and special-teams units. The Lions are his most likely landing spot moving forward considering he has now worked out with them.
