Head coach Sean McDermott said Brown won't participate in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports. Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
Though Brown is sitting out practice to begin Week 11 prep, head McDermott said Wednesday that he's "hopeful" that the starting right tackle will be able to play Sunday versus the Chiefs, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. If Brown were to log a full practice Thursday or Friday, he would probably avoid an injury designation for Sunday.

Bills' Spencer Brown: Inks extension with Buffalo
The Bills and Brown agreed to a four-year extension Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The specifics of the 2021 third-round pick's deal have yet to be reported, but Brown is now under contract with the Bills through 2028. Brown started all 17 of Buffalo's regular-season games in 2023, and after Friday's extension, he's expected to continue anchoring the right side of the Bills' offensive line for years to come.

Bills' Spencer Brown: Healthy after offseason surgery
Brown will be ready for the start of training camp next week after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, Ryan O'Halloran of The Buffalo News reports.
Brown didn't miss a game in 2023, playing all 1,161 offensive snaps during the regular season. Though the 26-year-old made it through the full campaign, he was likely playing with the shoulder injury at some point, given his need for offseason surgery. Now that he's presumably 100 percent again, Brown is locked in atop the depth chart at right tackle for Buffalo.
