Texans' DJ Turner: Sent to injured reserve
The Texans placed Turner (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Turner signed with Houston just last week but will now either miss the entire 2026 season or be let go with an injury settlement at a later date. The 29-year-old wideout has 16 career catches across 32 regular-season appearances.

Texans' DJ Turner: Signs with Houston
The Texans signed Turner on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 29-year-old wideout spent the previous four seasons with Las Vegas and caught 16 of 30 targets for 158 yards and one touchdown across 32 regular-season appearances during that span. He'll compete for one of the final spots at wide receiver in Houston.

DJ Turner: Moved back to practice squad
The Raiders reverted Turner to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Turner was elevated ahead of Sunday's loss to Denver but didn't see any work on offense. He did log four special-teams snaps and got a look as a punt returner, though he called for a fair catch the lone time the ball was kicked his way. Turner can be elevated two more times this season before Las Vegas would need to sign him to the active roster.

Raiders' DJ Turner: Elevated for Sunday
The Raiders elevated Turner from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Turner is set to play in his first game of the 2025 season and was likely elevated due to the injuries to wide receivers Dont'e Thornton (concussion) and Alex Bachman (thumb). The 28-year-old Turner has both kick and punt return value, logging 106 kick return yards and 77 punt return yards through 12 games in the 2024 season.

DJ Turner: Reuniting with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Turner (knee) to the practice squad Tuesday.
Turner has been a free agent since early March, when the Raiders decided not to tender the 28-year-old wide receiver. He missed the final five games of the 2024 regular season due to a knee injury, but he has been cleared to play and will return to Las Vegas as a member of the team's practice squad. Turner would be a candidate for elevation to the active roster in Week 9 against the Jaguars if the Raiders require added depth at wide receiver.

Raiders' DJ Turner: Won't receive tender
The Raiders decided to not tender Turner (knee) on Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Turner missed Las Vegas' final five games of the 2024 season due to a knee injury that landed him on injured reserve. However, he was fairly productive when on the field, catching 16 of his 29 targets for 158 yards and one touchdown. The Pittsburgh product also added five carries for 33 yards and one touchdown on the ground last season, playing 162 offensive snaps across 12 appearances. Fowler reported that the Raiders are open to bringing Turner back to Las Vegas, but only at a price lower than the tender.

Raiders' DJ Turner: To be restricted free agent
Turner (knee) secured 16 of 29 targets for 158 yards and one touchdown across 12 regular-season games with the Raiders in 2024. He also rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown on five carries and compiled 106 kick return yards and 77 punt return yards.
Turner produced career-best numbers before landing on IR in early December due to a Week 13 knee injury. The 28-year-old is slated to be a restricted free agent this offseason, meaning he'll be allowed to negotiate with other teams, but Las Vegas will retain the right to match any offer he might receive.

Raiders' DJ Turner: Moves to IR
The Raiders placed Turner (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
The severity of the knee injury Turner suffered in this past Friday's 19-17 loss to Kansas City isn't fully known, but he'll be sidelined until at least Week 18 as a result of his move to IR. After handling a light role to begin the season, Turner logged double-digit snaps in each of the Raiders' last 10 games. He has turned in a 16-158-1 receiving line on 29 targets to go with five carries for 33 yards and another touchdown over his 12 appearances on the season.

Raiders' DJ Turner: Hurts knee in Friday's game
Turner (knee) is questionable to return to Friday's game against the Chiefs.
Turner caught his only target for 25 yards prior to getting hurt. He also returned two kickoffs for 49 yards and had a nine-yard punt return. Dylan Laube, Ameer Abdullah and Tre Tucker are candidates to return kickoffs and punts if Turner doesn't return.
