Colts' Will Fries: Moved to IR
Fries (lower leg) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Fries' move to IR was expected after the Penn State product suffered a fractured tibia in Week 5's loss to the Jaguars, which led to him undergoing surgery in Jacksonville on Sunday night. It's not clear yet how much time the 26-year-old will miss; however, his placement on injured reserve guarantees he'll be sidelined for at least the team's next four games, although his absence is likely to extend beyond that.

Colts' Will Fries: Suffers fracture
Fries will have surgery Sunday to repair a fractured tibia suffered in the team's Week 5 loss to the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Fries was carted off the field Sunday after suffering the injury and will have to stay in Jacksonville for the surgery. The Penn State product is clearly looking at a multiweek absence and likely an IR stint, although it's not yet clear if he is done for the season. Dalton Tucker will likely be the Panthers' starter at right guard for the next several weeks.

Colts' Will Fries: Injures tibia vs. Jaguars
Head coach Shane Steichen said after Sunday's 37-34 loss to the Jaguars that Fries will stay in Florida and undergo a procedure for his injured tibia, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Fries was carted off the field in the third quarter of Sunday's game after suffering a serious injury to his right leg. The 26-year-old lineman's availability for the rest of the season should be known after his procedure. Dalton Tucker came in at right guard after Fries' injury, and the former could be the starter moving forward.

Fries exited Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a right leg injury and will not return, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Fries went down in a heap, and it looked pretty serious, as the rest of his teammates came out to the field to surround him. Dalton Tucker has come into the game to replace Fries at right guard.

Fries has apparently overcome the cramps he was dealing with that caused him to miss time during last week's win against the Ravens. With Ryan Kelly (concussion) and Quenton Nelson (toe) both questionable, Fries could end up being counted on to anchor the interior of the line.
