Bengals' Cordell Volson: Reverts to IR with Cincinnati
Volson (shoulder) reverted to the Bengals' injured reserve list Wednesday.
Volson suffered a shoulder injury during a training camp practice on Aug. 15, forcing him to miss time during the preseason. The fourth-year guard is set to undergo shoulder surgery and will miss the entire 2025 season. Volson will now turn his attention to his recovery ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Volson is set to undergo shoulder surgery and is likely to miss the entire 2025 season, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Volson suffered the injury late last week and was awaiting an evaluation. He was expected to be a depth piece along Cincinnati's offensive line, so his absence will be a blow to the team.

Bengals' Cordell Volson: Nursing shoulder injury
Volson has been ruled out for Monday's preseason game against the Commanders due to a shoulder injury, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Volson suffered the injury during Friday's training camp practice, and head coach Zach Taylor told reporters that the 2022 fourth-rounder's timeline for a return is unknown. Cody Ford, Jaxson Kirkland and Andrew Stueber should see more snaps at offensive guard Monday due to Volson's injury.
