Texans' Michael Dwumfour: Activated from injured reserve
Houston activated Dwumfour from injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Dwumfour hasn't played since Week 5 while on IR due to a shoulder injury, but he'll likely be back in the mix during Sunday's matchup against Washington. Across four appearances this season, the second-year defensive end has totaled two tackles across 108 defensive snaps.

Texans' Michael Dwumfour: Designated to return from IR
Dwumfour (shoulder) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Dwumfour is set to return to practice for the first time since being placed on IR in October with a shoulder issue. The Texans will have 21 days to either activate him or leave him on IR for the remainder of the season, the first of which seems more likely. In four games this season, Dwumfour has registered two tackles while playing 108 defensive snaps.

The Texans signed Dwumfour (undisclosed) to their practice squad Wednesday.
Dwumfour was one of a handful of free agents whom the Texans brought in for a workout after their Week 5 loss to the Patriots. The Rutgers product was waived by the Jets in late August after agreeing to an injury settlement ,but the undrafted rookie defensive end looks like he's healthy again.
