Giants' Tanner Conner: Signs future deal with Big Blue
Conner reverted to the Giants' practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract with New York on Monday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Conner spent the majority of the 2025 campaign with the Dolphins on both the active roster and practice squad and logged nine catches (on 15 targets) for 91 yards across nine regular-season games with Miami. He was cut by the Dolphins in mid-December but quickly found a home with the Giants on the practice squad, and he was elevated to the active roster for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cowboys, though he didn't end up playing a single snap. Conner will stay with the Giants and participate in offseason activities with the hopes of earning a spot on the team's 53-man roster for the 2026 season.

Giants' Tanner Conner: Elevated for Week 18
Conner was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Conner joined the Giants' practice squad in mid-December after being let go by Miami multiple times. He should have the chance to be active due to Theo Johnson (illness) being ruled out, though Conner will likely be buried on the depth chart.

Tanner Conner: Finds spot on Giants' PS
Conner signed with the Giants' practice squad Thursday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Conner lands with the Giants organization one day after being cut from Miami's practice squad. He has nine receptions for 91 yards in nine games with the Dolphins this season and has appeared in 33 regular-season games split across four seasons in Miami.

Tanner Conner: Let go by Miami
The Dolphins cut Conner from the practice squad Wednesday.
Conner was brought back by Miami on the practice squad in early November after being waived from the team's active roster, but he'll now be on the lookout for a team in need of depth at tight end. He appeared in each of the Dolphins' first nine games of the regular season, splitting his time between special teams and offense and accumulating nine catches (on 15 targets) for 91 yards.

Tanner Conner: Back with Miami on practice squad
The Dolphins signed Conner to the practice squad Saturday.
Conner was waived by the Dolphins on Thursday, but he has opted to stay in Miami as a member of the team's practice squad. He logged nine catches (on 15 targets) for 91 yards through the Dolphins' first nine games of the regular season, and he would be be a candidate for elevation to the active roster should Miami require additional depth at tight end.

Tanner Conner: Could be brought back by Miami
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that the team is interested in bringing back Conner, whom Miami waived Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
If brought back, Conner would presumably sign with Miami's practice squad. Conner had been helping to fill the void while Darren Waller (pectoral) is on injured reserve. Julian Hill (ankle) and Greg Dulcich make up Miami's current tight end depth.

Tanner Conner: Let go by Miami
The Dolphins waived Conner on Thursday.
Conner being cut is a clear sign that Miami expects Julian Hill (ankle) to be ready for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills. It could also be extrapolated that the team is encouraged by the pass-catching chops Greg Dulcich displayed during Week 9's loss to the Ravens, when he secured all five targets for 49 yards, or that the recovery of Darren Waller (pectoral) is proceeding on track. Across nine regular-season appearances with Miami, Conner mostly contributed as a blocker while hauling in nine of 15 targets for 91 yards.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Held without catch
Conner failed to secure his only target during Miami's 28-6 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
The Dolphins allotted low utilization to the tight end position Week 9, with both Darren Waller (pectoral, IR) and Julian Hill (ankle) sidelined. Conner saw the highest workload (45 percent of offensive snaps) of any of Miami's tight ends, though it was recent practice-squad signee Greg Dulcich (36 percent of snaps) who led the group in the receiving game, securing all five of his targets for 49 yards. With Dulcich's emergence, Conner will safely remain off the fantasy radar versus Buffalo in Week 10 even if Hill is still sidelined.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Targeted twice in Week 8 win
Conner secured both of his targets for six yards during Miami's 34-10 win over the Falcons.
Conner didn't see much of an uptick in receiving opportunities despite Darren Waller (pectoral, IR) and Julian Hill (ankle) both sitting out versus Atlanta, and Tyreek Hill (knee - ACL) out for the year. While that was a disappointing result with Tua Tagovailoa throwing for a season-high four touchdowns, Miami was able to lean heavily on the run after getting out to a convincing early lead. Conner could draw more targets on Thursday night versus Baltimore in Week 9, but as he's yet to either score or tally 30 receiving yards in a single game this season, he remains off the fantasy radar in the majority of formats.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Expanded opportunities on tap
Conner is slated to see expanded routes and targets beginning with Sunday's road matchup against the Falcons due to the Dolphins placing Darren Waller (pectoral) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Conner and Julian Hill figure to operate as Miami's top two tight ends for at least the next four games as Waller progresses in his recovery, while recent practice-squad signee Greg Dulcich contributes in a depth role. Though neither Conner nor Hill was fantasy relevant during the first three games of the regular season, before Waller made his debut, the Dolphins are now also without wide receiver Tyreek Hill (knee - ACL) for the rest of the year. In deeper fantasy leagues, and especially those that require multiple starting tight ends, Conner and Hill are now worth a flier as waiver pickups in case one emerges as the clear beneficiary of the ample targets now left up for grabs behind top wideout Jaylen Waddle.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Makes most of only catch
Conner secured one of three targets for 28 yards during Miami's ' 31-6 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Conner and Julian Hill (one catch for one yard on two targets) both saw increased usage due to Darren Waller (pectoral) being forced off the field early versus Cleveland. With Tyreek Hill (IR, knee) already done for the year, both Conner and Hill will attain limited fantasy value in deeper leagues that require multiple starting tight ends if Waller remains sidelined for Miami's road matchup at Atlanta in Week 8.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Not targeted in win over Jets
Conner was not targeted during Monday's 27-21 win over the Jets.
Conner's already marginal involvement in the passing game took a backseat with the debut of veteran tight end Darren Waller. Though Waller was limited to 28 percent of offensive snaps Week 4, he was heavily utilized in those opportunities and only projects to expand his reps as the season progresses. Conner played just nine offensive snaps versus New York and he figures to face similar utilization going forward, beginning Sunday on the road against Carolina in Week 5.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: Makes one grab in Week 3 loss
Conner secured one of two targets for 13 yards during Thursday's 31-21 loss to the Bills.
Conner continues to handle an increased workload at tight end alongside Julian Hill with Darren Waller (hip) having been sidelined the first three games of the regular season. That hasn't translated into notable fantasy value for either Conner or Hill, however. Conner has just three grabs for 33 yards on six targets across his three appearances this year, and he'll remain off the fantasy radar Week 4 against the Jets even if Waller is again inactive.

Dolphins' Tanner Conner: No targets to TE position
Conner was not targeted during Miami's 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
Conner and Julian Hill were both held without a target Week 2, even with Darren Waller (hip) inactive a second straight game. While Waller appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Thursday night's divisional matchup against the Bills, Conner and Hill remain off the fantasy radar outside of formats that require multiple starting tight ends. Even then, Hill has handled marginally more offensive snaps through two weeks and likely offers more upside in the red zone than Conner.
