Steelers' Rodney Williams: Gets active roster spot
Williams was signed to the Steelers' 53-man roster from their practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Williams has been a member of the Steelers' franchise for the majority of the last two seasons, spending much of 2022 on the practice squad, while suiting up for 13 regular-season games in 2023. However, those games didn't lead to much offensive production as he saw just two targets and no catches. With MyCole Pruitt (knee) currently iffy for Week 3, Williams may see himself on the field again Sunday against the Chargers.
