Seahawks' Deven Eastern: Back at practice
Eastern (undisclosed) passed his physical and was taken off the Seahawks' active/PUP list Thursday.
Less than two weeks after Seattle sent Eastern to its PUP list with an unspecified injury, he's already back in action. He'll be competing with the likes of 2025 fifth-rounder Rylie Mills and undrafted rookie free agent Uso Seumalo for a spot on the defensive-line depth chart in 2026.

Seahawks' Deven Eastern: Lands on PUP list
The Seahawks placed Eastern (undisclosed) on the Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
A seventh-round pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, Eastern had missed parts of minicamp and OTAs due to an unspecified injury. By being placed on the PUP, Eastern is eligible to be activated at any time during training camp once he's fully healthy. The nature of the Minnesota product's injury might become more clear once the Seahawks conduct their first practice of training camp July 25.

Seahawks' Deven Eastern: Snagged by Seattle
The Seahawks selected Eastern in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 242nd overall.
Eastern was a full-time starter at defensive tackle in each of his last three seasons at Minnesota. He was named an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2025 after posting 38 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defense across 13 games. Eastern has an intimidating 6-foot-5, 315-pound frame that makes him an intriguing development project for the Seahawks, who will certainly work with the 23-year-old on his technique and instinct to try and develop him into an NFL-caliber defensive lineman.
