  • Brock Lampe: Reaches injury settlement with Seattle

The Seahawks waived Lampe (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.

Lampe was set to miss the entire 2026 season after reverting to injured reserve Monday. He'll now hit waivers and become a free agent if he goes unclaimed, allowing him to sign and play with a team once fully healthy. Lampe has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game since signing with the Patriots in May of 2025 as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois.

  • Brock Lampe: Waived/injured by Seattle

The Seahawks waived/injured Lampe (undisclosed) on Sunday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Lampe signed with the Seahawks in early August and participated in all three preseason games but did not appear in the box score. The fullback lost out to Brady Russell and will now be subject to waivers. If Lampe goes unclaimed, he will revert to the team's injured reserve list for the entirety of the 2026 regular season. If Lampe wishes to sign with another organization once he reverts to IR, he will need to reach an injury settlement with the Seahawks.

  • Seahawks' Brock Lampe: Signs with Seahawks

Seattle signed Lampe on Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Lampe spent the 2025 season on New England's injured-reserve list after going undrafted out of Northern Illinois, and now he'll compete for a roster spot on the team that beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. At a minimum, he should be able to handle some of the practice reps vacated by 2025 fifth-rounder Robbie Ouzts as he tends to an undisclosed injury.

Lampe (undisclosed) is participating during the Patriots' OTAs.

Lampe spent the entire 2025 season on New England's injured reserve list, but he's apparently now in good enough shape to work with the team in at least a limited capacity. After the Patriots signed fullback Reggie Gilliam to a three-year contract during free agency, Lampe could be a longshot to make the final 53-man roster for 2026.
