Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Logs DNP on Wednesday
Ferguson (ankle) officially didn't practice Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Ferguson had X-rays performed on his ankle during this past Sunday's game at Denver, and while he was able to return to the game, he finished fourth among Rams right ends in offensive snaps (22 of 86). On Monday, coach Sean McVay told Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register that Ferguson "likely" will be out this coming Sunday in Philadelphia, so his lack of reps Wednesday doesn't come as a surprise. Colby Parkinson (shoulder) also was a DNP on the first Week 4 injury report, so L.A.'s current healthy tight ends on the active roster are Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and Max Klare.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Will not practice Wednesday
Head coach Sean McVay said Ferguson (ankle) will not practice Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Additionally, Colby Parkinson (shoulder) will not practice Wednesday. Ferguson is not expected to play Sunday against the Eagles after spraining his ankle last Sunday night against the Broncos. If neither Ferguson nor Parkinson can suit up against Philly, Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie Max Klare would be next up at tight end for Los Angeles.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Likely out for Week 4
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Ferguson "likely" will be sidelined for Sunday's game in Philadelphia, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Ferguson missed a portion of Sunday's loss at Denver to get X-rays on an ankle injury, and while he was cleared to return, he finished fourth among Rams tight ends in offensive snaps (22 of 86) behind Tyler Higbee (61), Colby Parkinson (37) and Davis Allen (31). Through three games this season, Ferguson had a 6-54-1 line on nine targets in Week 2 versus the Giants and one catch (on three targets) for nine yards in the other two contests. Now that he's slated to miss some time, the aforementioned trio likely will handle the bulk of the TE workload for L.A., though rookie Max Klare might finally see his first offensive plays.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Returns after X-rays
Ferguson (ankle) has returned to Sunday's game against the Broncos, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Ferguson had been deemed questionable to return after heading to the locker room in the first quarter. He was taken to the X-ray room, per Cameron DaSilva of USA Today Rams Wire, but Ferguson evidently received good news regarding his ankle injury and has been cleared to resume playing.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Headed to locker room early on SNF
Ferguson (ankle) went to the locker room in the first quarter of Sunday night's game against the Broncos, James Palmer of NFL on Prime Video reports.
Ferguson seemed to aggravate the ankle injury that limited his practice participation earlier in the week. If Ferguson's unable to return to the game, the Rams will be down two key pass catchers, as they are already playing without Puka Nacua (hip). Ferguson had six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown in the previous game but was hurt on his first target Sunday night, which fell incomplete.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Full practice Thursday
Ferguson (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Ferguson kicked off Week 3 prep with a limited session Wednesday due to an ankle injury, but his ability log every on-field rep one day later indicates that the issue was a minor one. With his health now not in question, there's a decent chance he'll again serve as the No. 2 option in the passing game behind Davante Adams this Sunday at Denver due to Puka Nacua's ongoing absence from practice as a result of a hip injury. In such a capacity during Monday's 28-6 win against the Giants, Ferguson went for six catches (on nine targets) for 54 yards and one touchdown.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Tending to ankle issue
Ferguson was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough due to an ankle injury, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Ferguson earned a 51 percent snap share during a Week 1 loss to the 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, but didn't haul in his only target. With Puka Nacua (groin) inactive Monday versus the Giants, Ferguson played second fiddle to WR Davante Adams (8-195-2 on 10 targets), hauling in six of nine targets for 54 yards and one touchdown. Nacua remained sidelined Wednesday, and if he requires more time to recover, Ferguson could be among QB Matthew Stafford's favored pass catchers this Sunday at Denver, assuming the tight end's own ankle issue doesn't impact his availability.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Gets into end zone in win
Ferguson secured six of nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' 28-6 win over the Giants on Monday night.
Ferguson finished as the runner-up on the Rams in all of receptions, receiving yards and targets while closing out the scoring with a five-yard TD grab in the fourth quarter, as the second-year tight end saw a significant increase in opportunity in the absence of Puka Nacua (hip). Ferguson drew a sole target over 31 snaps in the Week 1 loss to the 49ers, and despite Monday night's surge in production, it will be difficult to trust any of the members of the Rams' deep tight-end room on a game-to-game basis.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Held without catch Week 1
Ferguson failed to haul in his lone target during the Rams' 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1.
The lone pass Ferguson saw from Matthew Stafford was on fourth-and-5 midway through the fourth quarter, which easily sailed over the second-year tight end and out of bounds. Ferguson's 31 snaps on offense were ahead of Tyler Higbee (12) but behind Colby Parkinson (41), so Ferguson's role in the Rams offense figures to mostly be as a run blocker in 12- and 13-man personnel. The Rams will host the Giants in Week 2 on Monday, Sept. 21.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Sheds injury tag
Ferguson (soreness) was not listed on the injury report the Rams released Tuesday, according to Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com.
Ferguson carried an injury designation for the past couple weeks due to an undisclosed injury, but his omission from Tuesday's report indicates it's no longer a concern. Ferguson has been generating some buzz in fantasy circles, but all five of the tight ends on the Rams' depth chart head into Week 1 healthy, so it's unclear exactly what sort of target volume he might see.
