Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Not seen at practice
Harrison (heel) wasn't present at the open portion of Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Harrison suffered a heel injury in the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay and didn't return. The outing was his first following a two-game absence due to undergoing an appendectomy, and coach Jonathan Gannon relayed to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com that Harrison's new health concern could result in more missed time. Wednesday's injury report will reveal whether or not Harrison was able to mix into any drills.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: In danger of more missed time
Coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Harrison's heel injury is similar to the one that kept Max Melton (heel) out of Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Gannon also noted that Harrison is "going to see the doc later on here."
Harrison thus appears to be in danger of missing this coming Sunday's game against the Rams after exiting Week 13 in the fourth quarter and not returning to action. He already sat out Weeks 11 and 12 following an appendectomy, so his activity level thus bears watching Wednesday through Friday to see if the Cardinals' receiving corps again will be shorthanded Week 14. In such a such a scenario, Michael Wilson would reclaim the No. 1 role for at least one more contest, while expanded workloads for Greg Dortch and Xavier Weaver also would be on tap.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Battles heel injury in Week 13
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said after Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers that Harrison exited in the second half of the game due to a heel injury and was unable to return, Jess Root of USA Today reports.
Back in action Sunday after missing the previous two contests while recovering from an appendectomy, Harrison finished with six catches for 69 yards on seven targets while playing 37 of 61 offensive snaps (61 percent). It's not clear when Harrison sustained the heel injury, but he had an insert placed in his shoe at one point during the contest, only to remove it later on. Harrison was then seen limping around on the field in the second half after catching a pass, prompting the Cardinals to pull him from the contest. The second-year wideout will undergo further evaluation, so his status for next Sunday's matchup with the Rams is cloudy for the time being.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Six catches in return Sunday
Harrison secured six of seven targets for 69 yards in the Cardinals' 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Making his return from a two-game absence following an emergency appendectomy, Harrison ascended back into his No. 1 receiver role at the expense of the likes of Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch. Harrison finished second across the board to Trey McBride in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, but he led Arizona's wideouts in all three categories despite dealing with a minor heel injury in the second half. Now seemingly back to full health, Harrison will maintain plenty of fantasy appeal across all formats going into a Week 14 home showdown against the Rams next Sunday.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Back in action Sunday
Harrison (appendix) is active for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
In the wake of a Week 12 loss to the Jaguars, coach Jonathan Gannon said last Monday that Harrison didn't have a timeline for a return to action after missing the past two contests due to appendicitis, per Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com. Harrison then mixed into drills Wednesday and maintained limited activity through Friday before the Cardinals tagged him as questionable to play Sunday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday evening that Harrison was in line to suit up this weekend, which now will come to pass. Considering he may not be running at full capacity, though, Harrison may take a back seat to TE Trey McBride and fellow WR Michael Wilson in terms of targets from QB Jacoby Brissett.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Trending toward playing Sunday
Harrison (appendix), who is officially questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Harrison has missed Arizona's past two games after undergoing an emergency appendectomy. He was able to return to practice this week and logged a trio of limited sessions, which appears to have been enough for him to return to game action Sunday. Harrison's expected return could put a dent in the production of fellow wideout Michael Wilson, after Wilson went off for a combined 25-303-0 receiving line on 33 targets in the two contests during Harrison's absence.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Questionable for Sunday
Harrison (appendix) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
Harrison returned to practice Wednesday, two weeks after undergoing an appendectomy. He was a limited participant all week, including Friday, when he told reporters after practice that "some things feel uncomfortable" while others "feel kind of normal," per Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com. Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon told Brack that Harrison "moved around well" during practice, but Gannon didn't comment on expectations for the wideout's availability this Sunday for the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Another limited listing
Harrison (appendix) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice report, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Harrison maintained his listed activity level from Wednesday, which marked his first notable on-field work since undergoing an appendectomy following Week 10 action. So far, he's missed two games as a result, but Friday's injury report will unveil whether or not the second-year pro has a chance to return to action Sunday in Tampa Bay. Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch have been filling in as the Cardinals' top two wide receivers during Harrison's absence.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Officially limited in return to practice
Harrison (appendix) officially was limited at Wednesday's practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Harrison underwent an appendectomy after Week 10 action and subsequently was sidelined Weeks 11 and 12. Coach Jonathan Gannon didn't provide a timetable for Harrison's next game action as of Monday, per Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com, but the second-year pro at least is putting himself in a position to play Sunday at Tampa Bay following Wednesday's development. In the end, Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Arizona is giving Harrison a chance to return in Week 13.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Back at practice
Harrison (appendix) returned to practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Harrison has missed the last two games after undergoing an appendectomy between Weeks 10 and 11, but his ability to resume on-field work Wednesday indicates he's progressing well in his recovery. He was spotted running routes and catching passes, but whether or not he's on a path to return to action Sunday at Tampa Bay remains to be seen. Wednesday's injury report will reveal Harrison's initial activity level of Week 13 prep.

Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: No timeline for return, per Gannon
Coach Jonathan Gannon said Monday that Harrison (appendix) doesn't have a timetable for a return to action, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. "When he's physically and mentally healthy to play, he'll play," Gannon noted.
Harrison has missed the last two games after undergoing an appendectomy between Weeks 10 and 11, a span in which fellow WR Michael Wilson has broken out with a 25-303-0 line on 33 targets and even Greg Dortch has produced a 12-119-2 line on 15 targets. As for Harrison, he's in the midst of a multi-week recovery, and Gannon's comments seem to indicate the second-year pro isn't a candidate to retake the field Sunday at Tampa Bay.
