Patriots' Sidy Sow: Likely out Sunday
Sow (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Sow has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury in the Patriots' final preseason game. His extended absence is likely to keep him out for Week 2 against the Seahawks, even if he can return to the field in some form Friday. For Week 1, New England elevated Michael Jordan from the practice squad and gave him the start at left guard, which will likely be the plan again Sunday if Sow ultimately sits out a second straight game.

Sow (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Sow was held out of practice all week due to an ankle issue, so it's no surprise that the second-year offensive lineman won't suit up Sunday. Expect Nick Leverett to get the nod as New England's top left guard in Sow's stead.

Sow (ankle) missed Wednesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Sow has yet to return to the field after sustaining an ankle injury during the Patriots' preseason finale Aug. 25. While the 26-year-old offensive lineman continues to recover, expect Zachary Thomas to work at left guard with New England's first-team offense.

Sow (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday night's preseason game against the Commanders.
Sow went down in the second quarter. There should be more info on the second-year guard's injury in the coming days, but Sow would be difficult to replace on a New England offensive line that has been working all summer to find the right combination with which to head into Week 1.

Patriots' Sidy Sow: Leaves with ankle injury
Sow exited Sunday night's preseason game against the Commanders with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Sow has been running as New England's starting left guard all summer. For an offensive line that is trying to find the right combination up front, losing Sow to any sort of multi-week injury would be a big deal. A fourth-round pick in 2023, Sow started 13 games as a rookie.
