Rudy Ford: Released by Carolina
The Panthers released Ford on Tuesday.
Ford was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury during the playoffs while with the Packers last season and signed with Carolina just 13 days ago. The 29-year-old has appeared in 86 career games (21 starts) and has six interceptions across the last three years. Ford should find work elsewhere at some point in 2024.

Panthers' Rudy Ford: Links up with Carolina
The Panthers signed Ford (hamstring) to a contract Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Ford ended last season on IR with the Packers due to a hamstring injury, but he's now passed his physical with Carolina. The veteran safety boasts substantial NFL experience and could earn a significant depth role in the Panthers' secondary.
