Allen (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Bears on Saturday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
The other 31 teams will now have an opportunity to claim Allen off waivers. If he ultimately goes unclaimed, the linebacker will revert to the Bears' injured reserve.

Allen was sidelined in Week 4 with a foot injury, but it's unclear if the problem he's currently dealing with is related. Allen's lack of availability comes as no surprise, considering that he has not participated in practice since suffering a foot injury during Miami's Week 3 win over the Raiders. As long as Allen remains sidelined, expect Stephone Anthony to receive increased rotational snaps.

The undrafted rookie will make his NFL debut at strongside linebacker Sunday. There is a serious lack of depth in the Dolphins' linebacker corps, but if Allen doesn't perform well, Justin March-Lillard is the only other option to fill in.
