Broncos' Matt Haack: Headed to Denver
Haack agreed to a one-year, $1.25 million deal with the Broncos on Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
The eight-year NFL veteran is reuniting Darren Rizzi, who served as his special teams coordinator with the Dolphins from 2017 to 2018. Haack appeared in four games with the Giants in 2024, punting 21 times for 988 yards. Now in Denver, Haack is expected to serve as the Broncos' punter and holder in 2025.

Giants' Matt Haack: Signs with Big Blue
Haack signed a contract with the Giants on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
New York's regular punter, Jamie Gillan, is dealing with a hamstring injury and won't be active Sunday versus Cincinnati, per Dan Duggan of The Athletic. As such, Haack is being called upon to take over punting duties in the Week 6 contest. Haack has plenty of NFL experience, as Sunday will mark his 100th regular-season game in the league.

Haack joined Arizona in May with hopes of winning the punting job. However, his exit will end those efforts and leave Nolan Cooney as the lone punter on the team's roster. Haack will now work to find a new opportunity.

Colts' Matt Haack: Signs with Indianapolis
The Colts signed Haack on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Also according to ProFootballNetwork.com's Aaron Wilson, Haack was one of seven punters to try out for the Colts on Wednesday after the presumed starter, Rigoberto Sanchez, went down with a torn Achilles Tuesday. Haack managed an unspectacular net average of 39.8 yards on 50 punts with the Bills last season and was recently replaced by 2022 sixth-rounder Matt Araiza in Buffalo, but he now finds himself with another starting job just a couple days after being released.
