Henningsen (Achilles) reverted to the Broncos' injured reserve Monday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Henningsen suffered a torn Achilles during the team's joint practice with the 49ers on Thursday. He will now rehab with the Broncos and attempt to be ready for training camp in 2026.

If further testing reveals a rupture in Henningsen's Achilles, he would be done for the 2025 season. The 2022 sixth-round draft pick didn't see the field in the 2024 regular season.

The Broncos selected Henningsen in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 206th overall.
Per Dane Brugler of the Athletic, Henningson became the first freshman walk on and start the season opener for Wisconsin in nearly 30 years. He moved into a full-time starting role as a redshirt senior in 2021 and racked up 33 tackles and three sacks. Henningsen has useful athleticism for his position and can develop into a rotational piece on the defensive line.
