Browns' Jedrick Wills: Out again for Week 2
Wills (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Jaguars, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Wills will miss his second consecutive game to open the season after missing virtually all of the offseason. He was activated from the PUP list during camp Aug. 26 but hasn't practice much since. James Hudson and Dawand Jones started at the tackle spots for the Browns last week versus Dallas, and Deshaun Watson was harassed for six sacks. Jacksonville's defense is a recommended streamer this week in fantasy.

Browns' Jedrick Wills: Back at practice
Wills (knee) logged a limited practice Thursday, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Wills didn't practice at all Wednesday, so this news puts the Alabama product on a positive trajectory toward Sunday's game against the Jaguars. However, a clearer picture of his status for Week 2 won't come until Friday, when the Browns release their next injury report.

Wills (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Wills wasn't able to suit up Week 1, but he began the week as a limited participant in practice and has since missed three consecutive sessions. He has two more chances to upgrade his activity level before receiving an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Wills will start at left tackle when healthy, but until then that role may continue to fall to James Hudson.

Wills (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's Week 1 contest against the Cowboys, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Wills told reporters Wednesday that he wouldn't be starting during Sunday's contest, so this news comes as no surprise. Head coach Kevin Stefanski spoke with reporters Friday, stating that Jack Conklin (knee) and James Hudson are both options to start at left tackle in Week 1, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.

Despite Wills' return to practice Wednesday, he told Cabot that he won't be starting during Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Cowboys. It appears that Wills is still nursing last year's season-ending injury, which means either Jack Conklin or James Hudson (ankle) is expected to start at left tackle Sunday.

Browns' Jedrick Wills: Nearing return
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Wills (knee) is "getting close" to returning to the field, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Despite Stefanski's positive comments, the 25-year-old offensive tackle sat out Monday's practice. His status for Sunday's Week 1 contest against the Cowboys is still up in the air, and if Wills is unable to suit up, expect James Hudson (ankle) or Jack Conklin to protect Deshaun Watson's blindside.

Browns' Jedrick Wills: Activated off PUP list
Wills (knee) passed his physical Monday and has been activated off the active/PUP list, per the Browns' official site.
Wills landed on the PUP list in late July as a consequence of the knee surgery he underwent last December. Though he missed the entire preseason slate, Wills is in line to start at left tackle for Cleveland during the 2024 campaign.

Browns' Jedrick Wills: Won't return to practice this week
Wills (knee) has not been cleared to practice this week, and his return date is uncertain, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Wills had knee surgery last December and was placed on the active/PUP list in late July. He'll end up missing Cleveland's entire preseason slate, though he could still be ready to start by Week 1 of the regular season. The Browns have been hit hard by injuries to their tackle group, as Jack Conklin (knee), James Hudson (ankle), Hakeem Adeniji (knee) and Germain Ifedi (hand) are all currently hurt as well.
