Stephens was placed on the Steelers' practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Stephens has yet to appear in a game for the Steelers this season after appearing in 13 for the Seahawks in 2020. He'll try to get healthy and earn a promotion to the active roster before the 2021 season comes to a close.

Stephens was signed to the Seahawks active roster Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Stephens has spent the first two weeks of the season on Seattle's practice squad, but with Marquise Blair (knee) out for the year, the Seahawks are in need of depth at the safety position. Stephens should slot in behind starters Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs and play a special teams role going forward.
