  • Trent Harris: Joins Raiders' practice squad

Harris signed with Las Vegas' practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Harris was placed on Baltimore's injured-reserve list during the preseason and was waived with an injury settlement Aug. 25. He's presumably recovered from the undisclosed issue since he was able to participate in a workout and subsequently sign with the Raiders on Wednesday. Harris participated in four contests with the Giants last season, posting seven tackles across 42 defensive snaps.

  • Ravens' Trent Harris: Heads to IR

The Ravens placed Harris (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Harris' IR designation helps Baltimore reach Tuesday's 85-man roster limit and makes the 255-pound linebacker ineligible to play this upcoming season, unless he can agree on an injury settlement with the team. Harris didn't appear in the team's first preseason game last Thursday, having signed with the Ravens on Saturday before hitting IR.

  • Giants' Trent Harris: Designated to return from IR

Harris (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Harris suffered the ankle injury in Week 12 against the Eagles and has been sidelined since. His return to practice will start a 21-day window for him to be activated to the active roster. However, with the Giants out of the playoff picture, it's unclear if New York will rush Harris back for the final two games of the season.

  • Giants' Trent Harris: Questionable to return

Harris (ankle) is questionable to return Sunday against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Harris suffered the injury in the early stages of the first quarter, and it remains to be seen if he'll be back. If that's not the case, then Cam Brown and Quincy Roche should see even more snaps, though Harris' potential absence the rest of the way won't impact fantasy rosters.

  • Giants' Trent Harris: Promoted from practice squad

The 25-year-old joined New York's practice squad earlier in October and was elevated as an extra player for the past two games. Harris appeared in one of those games and played nine defensive snaps, but he apparently made enough of an impression during practice to warrant a longer-term look on the roster.

  • Trent Harris: Let go by Miami

Harris was waived by the Dolphins on Sunday.
