The Broncos released Leavitt (undisclosed) from their practice squad with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Leavitt had just signed with Denver back in November but will now head to free agency. The 29-year-old will now look to get healthy and catch on with another team.

The Broncos signed Leavitt to their practice squad Tuesday.
A little over a week after he was waived by Green Bay, Leavitt has now found another opportunity in Denver. With regular starter Kareem Jackson currently serving a suspension, Leavitt might only be a couple injuries away from the Broncos' active roster.

Dallin Leavitt: Gets let go
Leavitt was waived by the Packers on Monday.
Leavitt has appeared in all 10 games for the Packers this season, mostly doing work on special teams. However, with Aaron Jones (knee), AJ Dillon (groin) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) all dealing with injuries and the Packers on a short week, Green Bay needed to create space to sign Patrick Taylor to their 53-man roster off the Patriots' practice squad.

Leavitt agreed to re-sign with the Packers on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Leavitt was a core special teamer for Green Bay in 2022, recording 12 tackles across 17 appearances and 305 special-teams snaps. He's heading into his sixth NFL campaign, and he's spent each one of those playing for Packers assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

Leavitt (shoulder) left the game in the second quarter of the Packers' 28-21 loss to the 49ers Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The injury came on a big hit from Leavitt to Ray-Ray McCloud that forced a fumble. Leavitt is expected to be a special teams contributor for the Packers after recording a career-high 35 tackles for the Raiders in 2021. With starting free safety Darnell Savage (hamstring) also missing time, Vernon Scott will take the bulk of snaps at the position for now.

Leavitt was waived by the Raiders on Wednesday after he registered career highs in tackles (35) and both defensive (233) and special-teams (347) snaps over 16 games in 2021. The 27-year-old should play a key role for Green Bay special-teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia, who served as Las Vegas' interim head coach for 13 games last year.

Leavitt (concussion) does not carry an injury designation heading into Monday's matchup with the Chargers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Leavitt was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday and will look to return to action Sunday after missing Week 3 with a concussion. The 27-year-old safety played primarily special teams during the first two weeks of the season and has five total tackles on the year.
