Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Agrees to extension with Packers
Wyatt (ankle) agreed to terms Monday on a three-year, $57 million contract extension with Green Bay, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Wyatt, a 2022 first-round pick, had been set to play out the 2026 campaign on the fifth-year option of his rookie deal. Instead, the 28-year-old now will benefit from long-term security with the Packers. He tallied 27 tackles (15 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two pass defenses over 10 regular-season games in 2025 before suffering a fractured ankle and undergoing surgery. Wyatt is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, with veteran players reporting on July 28.

Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Placed on IR
The Packers placed Wyatt (ankle) on injured reserve Friday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Wyatt fractured his ankle during the Packers' Thanksgiving win over the Lions, and the injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined for the rest of the 2025 campaign. He'll finish with 27 tackles (15 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two pass defenses over 10 regular-season games. Wyatt's absence leaves Colby Wooden as the top candidate to enter a starting role at defensive tackle alongside Karl Brooks.

Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Season-ending injury
Wyatt (ankle) suffered a severe ankle injury that will likely keep him sidelined the remainder of the season in Thursday's game against the Lions, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Wyatt was carted off during the fourth quarter of Thursday's Thanksgiving victory over the Lions, and the injury appears to be just as severe as initially feared. If the starting defensive tackle's season is indeed over, Karl Brooks (ankle) and Nazir Stackhouse will likely be called on to step into expanded roles.

Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Carted off during Thursday's win
Wyatt (ankle) was carted off during the fourth quarter of Thursday's 31-24 win over the Lions, Christopher Kuhagen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Wyatt stayed down on the field before being carted off due to a significant ankle injury, and the Packers quickly ruled him out to return. The 2022 first-round pick suffered the injury on a play that resulted in a key third-down sack of Jared Goff by Micah Parsons, which forced Detroit to settle for a field goal despite driving down to the red zone. Karl Brooks (ankle) and Nazir Stackhouse will step into expanded roles if Wyatt misses time.
