Broncos' Delarrin Turner-Yell: Opening season on PUP list
Turner-Yell (knee) was placed on the reserve/PUP list by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of Denver's official website reports.
Turner-Yell is still working his way back from a trio of ligament injuries in his left knee that he suffered in Week 17 of the 2023 season and he'll open the 2024 campaign on the sidelines as a result. The safety will be eligible to return from the PUP list in Week 5 versus the Raiders on Oct. 6.

Broncos' Delarrin Turner-Yell: Placed on PUP list
Turner-Yell (knee) was placed on the active/PUP list by the Broncos on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Turner-Yell sustained injuries to his ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee in Week 17 of the 2023 season, and he'll open Denver's training camp on the sidelines Tuesday. Once he's healthy, the 24-year-old will compete with Devon Key and Kris Abrams-Draine, among others, for a top reserve role at safety in the Broncos secondary this season.

Turner-Yell sustained damage to his ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee during Denver's win over the Chargers in Week 17, 9News Sports Denver reports.
It was initially reported that Turner-Yell has only sustained a ruptured ACL, so the update may add some time to the length of his projected recovery. He got involved on defense for the first time in his NFL career in 2023, recording 31 tackles (25 solo) over 16 games.

Turner-Yell suffered a torn ACL in Denver's Week 17 win over the Chargers, so the move to IR comes as no surprise.
