Funderburk reverted to the Panthers' injured reserve list with an undisclosed issue Monday after clearing waivers. Funderburk has already cleared waivers and is now a free agent able to sign with any franchise as soon as he regains his health.

Funderburk compiled five total tackles during the preseason but he appears to have picked up an undisclosed injury at some point along the line.
