Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Has broken ribs
Wilson said after Sunday's 33-30 win at Dallas that he suffered two broken ribs during the contest, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson missed some time spanning the second and third quarter to be evaluated for an undisclosed injury, but he was able to return to action, finishing Week 8 with eight catches (on 15 targets) for 111 yards and one touchdown while taking one carry for 17 yards. Considering he was able to play through the pain and act as a favorite target for both QBs Jacoby Brissett and later Gardner Minshew, Wilson may not be in danger of missing additional time, but a rib injury has plagued him the last two games, so his status bears monitoring to see if that may be the case next Sunday in Seattle.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Back in Sunday's contest
Wilson (undisclosed) returned to Sunday's contest in Dallas, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' officials site reports.
Wilson paid a visit to the medical tent late in the second quarter to be evaluated for an apparent injury after he dove for a Jacoby Brissett deep ball, which left him slow to get off the turf. Having said that, Wilson was able to return in the third quarter and likely will be one of Brissett's top targets for the rest of the game with RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) and WR Kendrick Bourne (ankle) exiting with their own injuries.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: No designation for Sunday
Wilson (ribs) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Dallas, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Wilson donned a yellow non-contact jersey all week due to what he called sore ribs, but after head coach Mike LaFleur told Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic that the wide receiver was in line to play Sunday, his lack of designation confirms as much. LaFleur also relayed to Howard Balzer of USA Today that "pain tolerance" will dictate how much Wilson can handle in Week 8, which could inhibit him from earning the 9.4 targets per game that he's averaged through seven appearances this season.

Head coach Mike LaFleur said Friday that Wilson (ribs) is expected to play Sunday at Dallas, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Wilson has been tending to sore ribs this week, which so far has forced him to wear a yellow non-contact jersey Wednesday and Thursday and be listed as limited. LaFleur also told Howard Balzer of USA Today that "pain tolerance" is the operative word with Wilson. Friday's injury report will determine if Wilson has a designation for Week 8 action.

For a second day in a row, Wilson was donning a yellow non-contact jersey on the practice field, and he received the same limited listing as a result. He relayed to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com on Wednesday that he's tending to sore ribs, but there's been no indication that he's in danger of missing Sunday's game in Dallas. Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Catches four of eight Week 7 targets
Wilson caught four of eight targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 30-16 loss to the Broncos. He also rushed twice for 11 yards.
Wilson finished second on the team behind Trey McBride in catches, receiving yards and targets. The fourth-year wideout has drawn at least seven targets in every game this season, but Wilson has exceeded 56 receiving yards only twice in seven tries. Wilson hasn't stepped up since the Cardinals traded away Marvin Harrison, but the upcoming Week 8 matchup with Dallas' beatable secondary creates a potential breakout opportunity for Arizona's No. 1 wide receiver.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Four catches in first game after MHJ trade
Wilson caught four of seven targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 18-16 win over the Rams.
Wilson finished third on the team in catches, targets and receiving yards, trailing Trey McBride and Kendrick Bourne in all three categories in Arizona's first game since trading Marvin Harrison to Houston. Bourne seems to be the biggest beneficiary of Harrison's departure, as he tied his season high with eight targets and had five catches for 47 yards Sunday, while Wilson has been limited to seven targets in both of the games Arizona has played without Harrison. Wilson should continue to work as a key target for Jacoby Brissett when the Cardinals host the Broncos in Week 7.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Limited by Lions in loss
Wilson brought in four of seven targets for 30 yards and completed his only pass attempt for seven yards in the Cardinals' 45-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
Wilson wasn't able to approach his usual elevated numbers against a Lions defense that had struggled against the pass. The typically busy receiver still finished tied for third in targets and also slotted in third in receptions, but Wilson ultimately generated his second-lowest reception and receiving yardage tallies of 2026. Marvin Harrison was traded to the Texans earlier Sunday, so despite Wilson's quiet afternoon, fantasy managers now know Wilson will have one fewer competitor for targets from Jacoby Brissett moving forward.

Wilson caught seven of 13 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants.
The yardage and targets led the Cardinals on the afternoon, while his seven receptions tied Trey McBride for the team lead. Wilson has emerged as the clear No. 1 wideout for Jacoby Brissett, and he was the intended target on Deonte Banks' 98-yard pick-six that sealed the win for New York on the final play of the game. Wilson will take a 25-258-1 line on 44 targets through four games into a Week 5 tile at home against the Lions.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Peppered with targets in loss
Wilson secured 11 of 17 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 36-30 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.
Wilson's afternoon was reminiscent of several of those in his 2025 campaign, as the veteran receiver garnered a bulk of Jacoby Brissett's attention in his short- and mid-range role while leading the team in receptions, receiving yards and targets. Marvin Harrison was a bit more involved Sunday with three catches for 40 yards on five targets, but it appears clear Wilson and Trey McBride have far and away the most chemistry with Brissett. Wilson will take an 18-163-1 line on 31 targets in a Week 4 road matchup against the Giants next Sunday.
