Williams (undisclosed) and the Raiders reached an injury settlement Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Raiders' Seth Williams: Reverts to injured reserve
Williams (undisclosed) reverted to the Raiders' injured-reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Williams went unclaimed off waivers, so he'll shift to injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached with the Raiders. The 2021 sixth-round pick hasn't seen NFL regular-season action since his rookie campaign with the Broncos, when he played 61 snaps (47 on offense, 14 on special teams) over two games and logged one reception for 34 yards, although he did play in four combined regular-season and postseason games with the UFL champion DC Defenders this past spring.

Seth Williams: Waived with injury designation
Williams (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Raiders on Sunday.
Williams signed with the Raiders in late July but appears to have sustained an injury early in the preseason. The wide receiver is now eligible to be claimed by the remainder of the league, but if he goes unclaimed, he'll revert to injured reserve with Las Vegas.

Raiders' Seth Williams: Joins Raiders' receiving corps
Las Vegas signed Williams to a contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Williams was a sixth-round selection by the Broncos in the 2021 NFL Draft. He got into two games with Denver as a rookie, making one catch for 34 yards, but hasn't logged any NFL action since. Williams spent time on the practice squads of Jacksonville and Dallas over the past three years and also appeared in two regular-season and postseason games apiece for the UFL's DC Defenders this past spring, and he'll now try to make an impression with the Raiders.

Seth Williams: Let go by Dallas
The Cowboys waived Williams on Wednesday.
Williams signed a reserve/future contract with Dallas in January but will head to waivers. With the team acquiring George Pickens from Pittsburgh earlier the same day, the Cowboys no longer had a need for the depth Williams provided at receiver. The 25-year-old hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2021, when he caught one pass for 24 yards across two outings with the Broncos. He will now look to catch on with another team.

Cowboys' Seth Williams: Gets reserve/future deal from DAL
Dallas signed Williams to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Williams was a sixth-round selection by Denver in the 2021 NFL Draft. He saw action in two games as a rookie, catching one pass for 34 yards over 47 offensive snaps. Williams began the 2024 campaign with Jacksonville but was cut near the end of training camp, and the Cowboys signed him to their practice squad in early October. He'll get an opportunity to compete for a spot on the team's roster during training camp next summer.

Seth Williams: Joins Cowboys' practice squad
Dallas signed Williams to its practice squad Wednesday.
Williams didn't make the cut for the Jaguars' 53-man roster ahead of the regular season, but now he's getting a fresh shot with the Cowboys. The team only has five healthy wideouts on its active roster right now, so it's not out of the question that Williams could be elevated sooner rather than later.

Jacksonville waived Williams on Sunday.
Williams spent all of 2023 on the Jaguars' practice squad, and his last NFL action was in 2021 with the Broncos. He finished the preseason with three catches for 15 yards across three games. Assuming Williams clears waivers, the 2021 sixth-round pick will look to catch on with a team's practice squad.
