  • Cameron McCutcheon: Cut by Pittsburgh

    The Steelers waived McCutcheon (undisclosed) from injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    McCutcheon was set to miss the entire 2025 season after reverting to the Steelers' injured reserve in mid-August. He will now have the opportunity to sign with another team once he has fully recovered from his undisclosed injury. McCutcheon has yet to see regular-season action since signing with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in May of 2023.

  • Steelers' Cameron McCutcheon: Gets put on IR

    McCutcheon (undisclosed) reverted to Pittsburgh's injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    McCutcheon was not claimed during the last waiver period, and he'll now go to injured reserve with an unspecified injury. He'll have to stay there for the entire 2025 season unless he can work out an injury settlement with the Steelers.

    It's not currently clear what type of issue McCutcheon is dealing with, but if he clears waivers he'll revert to injured reserve. The Western Carolina product originally came into the league with the Rams in 2023 and has yet to play in an NFL game.
