Bills' Greg Rousseau: Ready to rock
Rousseau (back) has no injury designation ahead of Saturday's divisional-round matchup against the Broncos.
The 2021 first-round pick from Miami practiced in a limited capacity throughout the week, but it now appears he's moved past his back injury in time to play in the divisional round. Rosseau is coming off an impressive performance in the Bills' wild-card win over the Jaguars, recording six total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defensed over 44 defensive snaps. Now fully healthy, he's expected to start opposite Joey Bosa during Saturday's playoff contest.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Leads Buffalo with 7.0 sacks
Rousseau finished the 2025-26 regular season with 46 tackles (24 solo), including 7.0 sacks, along with two defensed passes, a forced fumble and a blocked kick over 16 games.
Rousseau continued to be a steady presence along the Bills' defensive line, pacing the team with 7.0 sacks -- a mark he's reached in three of his past four campaigns. He didn't play in Week 18 as Buffalo elected to rest multiple starters, but Rousseau should be primed for the team's wild-card matchup against Jacksonville this Sunday after staying mostly healthy throughout the regular season.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Won't play vs. NYJ
Rousseau (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
The Bills will rest Rousseau and other key defenders for Sunday's regular-season finale, so the fifth-year pro will end the 2025 campaign with 46 tackles (24 solo), including 7.0 sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble across 16 games. With Rousseau, Joey Bosa (hamstring) and DaQuan Jones (calf) all inactive, more snaps on the Bills' defensive line will be available for the likes of Javon Solomon, Jordan Phillips, Larry Ogunjobi, A.J. Epenesa and Matthew Judon.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Stands out with 2.5 sacks Sunday
Rousseau recorded three tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's 23-20 Week 16 victory against Cleveland.
Rousseau had a hand in all three of Buffalo's sacks in the game, notching two solo sacks and splitting another with Jordan Poyer. Rousseau now has 3.5 sacks over his past two games after tallying 3.0 across his first 13 contests of the campaign. His career high for sacks in a regular season is 8.0, which he's accomplished twice in his five-year NFL career.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Logs six tackles in TNF loss
Rousseau recorded six tackles (two solo) in Buffalo's loss to Houston on Thursday night.
Rousseau played 75 percent of the defensive snaps against the Texans, marking his third-highest snap rate of the season, and his six tackles tied a season high. On the year, Rousseau has logged 35 tackles (19 solo), including 3.0 sacks, 11 QB hits and a pair of pass breakups. He's gone three consecutive games without recording a sack.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Cleared for takeoff against Jets
Rousseau (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Rousseau practiced without limitations Friday after a pair of limited sessions, helping him get the green light to suit up Sunday against Buffalo's green-clad AFC East rivals. Buffalo's 2021 first-round pick is looking for his first sack of the season after tying his career high with 8.0 during the 2024 regular season.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Dealing with knee injury
Rousseau was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
Rosseau played 35 of 51 defensive snaps during the Bills' Week 1 win over the Ravens and finished with three solo tackles and a pass defense. He may have picked up a knee injury during the victory, but he'll have two more chances to log a full practice and avoid an injury tag heading into Sunday's AFC East clash against the Jets.

Bills' Greg Rousseau: Can't rush passer much Sunday
Rousseau recorded three tackles (three solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 41-40 win versus the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson only attempted 19 passes on a day where Baltimore averaged 8.2 yards per rush attempt as a team, so Rousseau didn't get many opportunities to pin his ears back in Week 1. The Bills' matchup against the Jets in Week 2 doesn't necessarily lend itself to many chances to rush the quarterback either, so Rousseau might have to try to make the most of every shot he gets.
