  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Productive as rusher in win

Reed secured both targets for nine yards and rushed twice for 37 yards in the Packers' 16-10 win over the Colts on Sunday. He also returned a punt for no gain and committed a fumble recovered by Green Bay.

Reed once again flashed impressive skills in space, but his most productive touches by far came as a runner. The versatile second-year pro rattled off gains of 22 and 15 yards on his pair of carries, while his receiving line was unsurprisingly subdued with Malik Willis being asked to run a very conservative game plan in place of Jordan Love (knee). Reed's receiving numbers are almost certainly going to continue taking a hit during what is expected to be a multi-game absence for Love, although it's possible Willis is tasked with more downfield passing in a Week 3 visit to the Titans.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Active in Week 2

Reed (calf/shin) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Reed made a surprise appearance on the Packers' Week 2 practice report Friday as limited due to calf and shin issues. On occasion, such a situation eventually leads to an absence, but that won't be the case for the second-year wide receiver. Sunday will mark Reed's first game action without Jordan Love, who is missing the first of what likely will be multiple games due to a sprained MCL. As a result, he'll be on the receiving end of passes from Malik Willis, which on paper is a significant downgrade for Reed and the rest of Green Bay's pass catchers.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Expected to play

Reed (calf/shin), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Reed didn't show up on the injury report until Friday, when he was listed as a limited participant in the Packers' final practice of the week. Though the late-week addition to the injury report is normally a foreboding sign, Reed looks like he'll be ready to go Sunday. However, his status won't be confirmed until the Packers release their inactive list 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Reed is available, he'll likely be working with a new starting quarterback in Malik Willis, as Jordan Love (knee) is listed doubtful for the contest.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Status in question for Week 2

Reed (calf/shin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

This follows Reed showing up on the Packers' Week 2 practice report Friday as limited by a pair of lower-leg injuries. His status will confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p..m. ET kickoff. Meanwhile, Green Bay has yet to rule out Jordan Love (MCL sprain) for this upcoming contest, also calling him questionable, so there seems to be a chance Reed will be on the receiving end of passes from his typical signal-caller, assuming the pair are active this weekend.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Logs limited practice Friday

Reed practiced in a limited fashion Friday due to shin and calf injuries, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Reed is making a late appearance on the Packers' Week 2 practice report after avoiding it entirely Wednesday and Thursday. His listing for Sunday's game against the Colts remains to be seen, but for the time being, another cloud is hanging over the Packers offense in addition to QB Jordan Love (knee) and RBs Josh Jacobs (back) and MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring).

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Opens campaign with big performance

Reed caught four of six targets for 138 yards and a touchdown and added one rush for a 33-yard touchdown in Friday's 34-29 loss to Philadelphia.

Reed had two huge plays in the second quarter -- a 33-yard touchdown run and a 70-yard reception for his second score. The second-year wideout had only three other catches, but two of them went for big gains of 26 and 33 yards, respectively. Quarterback Jordan Love spread the ball around pretty evenly Friday, with eight different players receiving at least two targets and all three of the team's top wideouts -- Reed, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson -- getting at least five looks. That trend could continue throughout the campaign, as all three are likely to play a big role in the Packers' passing game, but Reed has shown a knack for producing even without being the clear-cut No. 1 receiver during his time in the NFL. He'll likely be a key part of the team's offense again Week 2 against Indianapolis, though his outlook will dampen if Love, who left the contest in the final seconds of the fourth quarter with an apparent leg injury, ends up missing time.
