Forrest Merrill: Reaches injury settlement
The Broncos waived Merrill (undisclosed) from injured reserve Monday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Merrill was set to miss the entire 2023 season when he reverted to the Broncos' injured reserve on Aug. 17. He'll now have a chance to join another team this season when he's fully healthy.

Broncos' Forrest Merrill: Reverts to injured reserve
Merrill (undisclosed), who had previously been waived by the Broncos with an injury designation, reverted to IR on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
As a result, the defensive tackle is slated to miss the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team. Merrill, who also spent time with the Seahawks during training camp, has four career tackles to his credit (in four games with the Chargers in 2021).

Merrill had just joined the Saints on Aug. 5 after being waived by the Seahawks. The Arkansas State product will revert to IR upon clearing waivers and miss the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
