Steelers' Troy Fautanu: Practices in full Thursday
Fautanu (knee) was listed as a full participant during Thursday's practice session, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Fautanu has been working through a sprained MCL he sustained in Pittsburgh's preseason opener against Houston on Aug. 10. The rookie first-round pick opened the week as a limited participant Wednesday, but he was upgraded to full participation Thursday and he should be good to go for Week 1 against Atlanta. Fautanu is currently listed as the second right tackle on the Steelers' depth chart behind Broderick Jones.

Steelers' Troy Fautanu: Returns to practice
Fautanu (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports.
Fautanu suffered an MCL sprain in the Steelers' preseason opener and had been sidelined since. The 2024 first-round selection still has a chance to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Falcons, but it will depend on whether he is able to ramp up his activity level Thursday and Friday in practice. He's expected to be the team's starter at right tackle if he can suit up Week 1, while Broderick Jones would likely handle the position in the event of Fautanu's absence.

Steelers' Troy Fautanu: Likely out two weeks
Fautanu (knee) is expected to miss two weeks due to a sprained MCL, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Fautanu suffered an MCL sprain in Friday's preseason loss to Houston, but it appears that he could be recovered by the time the regular season begins. The 23-year-old could work his way up to a starting role when healthy after being taken with the 20th overall pick in April's NFL Draft.

Fautanu (knee) suffered an MCL sprain in Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Texans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Fautanu was selected 20th overall by the Steelers in this year's NFL Draft. Thus, he projects to have an impact on the team's offensive line when healthy. It remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined with his current MCL sprain.
