NFL Futures: Bold Picks for Bears and Saints

Top Tyrique Stevenson News

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Production dips in 2025

Stevenson recorded 49 total tackles (36 solo), 10 passes defensed, including one interception, and two forced fumbles over 13 regular-season games in 2025.

The third-year pro from Miami (Fla.) saw declines in several statistical categories compared to his 2024 campaign, including total tackles (78 to 49), passes defensed (12 to 10) and interceptions (two to one) while playing fewer defensive snaps (786 to 584). Despite this drop in production, Stevenson remained an important part of the Bears secondary, finishing with the second-most passes defensed on the team. Under contract through the 2026 season, the 25-year-old is expected to remain a key part of Chicago's defense next year.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Ready for Week 15

Stevenson (hip) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Browns.

Stevenson opened the Bears' week of practice with consecutive limited sessions but upgraded to a full-go Friday, suggesting he's moved past his hip injury in time to play Sunday. Now fully healthy, the Miami product is expected to have an expanded role in Chicago's secondary while Kyler Gordon (groin) remains sidelined in Week 15.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Limited to open week

Stevenson (hip) was estimated to be limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune reports.

A hip injury has sidelined Stevenson for the Bears' last two games, but his estimated ability to participate if there had been a practice indicates that he is progressing in his recovery. A full practice Thursday or Friday would put Stevenson in a good position to be available for Sunday's game against the Browns.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Missing Week 14

Stevenson (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

The third-year pro from Indiana sustained a hip injury in the Week 12 win over the Steelers, and he's now in line to miss his second consecutive contest. While Stevenson is sidelined in Week 14, Nahshon Wright will likely have an expanded role in Chicago's secondary.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Still sidelined

Stevenson (hip) was a DNP at Wednesday's walkthrough.

Stevenson suffered a hip injury in Chicago's Week 12 win and hasn't practiced since. He'll likely need to participate in some capacity Thursday to have a chance to play in Week 14 against the Packers.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Sitting out Friday's contest

Stevenson (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's Week 13 clash against the Eagles.

Stevenson had to make an early exit from Sunday's win over Pittsburgh after hurting his hip. He was listed as a DNP in all three of Chicago's practices this week (two were walkthroughs), and he'll be held out from Friday's matchup. Kyler Gordon (calf), Jaylon Jones or Nick McCloud could step into a starting role in Stevenson's stead.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Sidelined Wednesday

    Stevenson (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.

The 25-year-old aggravated a lingering hip injury in Chicago's Week 12 win over the Steelers and has now logged consecutive DNPs to begin the week of practice. If Stevenson isn't able to upgrade to at least limited practice Thursday, he'll likely be sidelined for Friday's matchup with the Eagles.

  • Bears' Tyrique Stevenson: Still dealing with hip injury

Stevenson (hip) was listed as a non-participant on the Bears' practice estimate Tuesday.

Stevenson aggravated a lingering hip injury during Sunday's game versus the Steelers, forcing him out of action after just 12 snaps. Now his status for Week 13 is in doubt, and he'll probably have to practice in some capacity Wednesday or Thursday to have any chance of playing Friday at Philadelphia.
