Chargers' Justin Eboigbe: Breaks out in second season
Eboigbe tallied 39 total tackles (27 solo), including 6.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games in 2025.
Eboigbe, a 2024 fourth-round pick from Alabama, played in just five regular-season games and logged 24 defensive snaps during his rookie campaign. However, he emerged as one of the Chargers' top defenders in his second NFL season, ranking third on the team in sacks and tackles for loss. Under contract through the 2027 season, Eboigbe is expected to remain one of Los Angeles' top interior defensive linemen in 2026.

Chargers' Justin Eboigbe: Gets two sacks Thursday
Eboigbe recorded three tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks, during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.
Eboigbe was one of the key drivers of a pass rush that sacked Minnesota quarterback Carson Wentz five times in Week 8, and he picked up his third and fourth sacks of the year. The Chargers will be on the road in Week 9 to take on a pass-dependent Tennessee offense with an unimpressive offensive line.

Chargers' Justin Eboigbe: Returns to game Monday
Eboigbe has returned to Monday's Week 2 contest against Las Vegas after previously exiting with an ankle injury, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Eboigbe temporarily departed in the first quarter after hurting his ankle, but he's since been able to re-enter the contest. He should thus be able to continue working in a rotational role along the Chargers' defensive line.

Chargers' Justin Eboigbe: Questionable to return Monday
Eboigbe (ankle) is questionable to return to Monday night's contest against the Raiders, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Eboigbe suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter, placing some doubt on his chances to return to action. The defensive lineman operates as a depth option, so his absence doesn't carry a major impact on defense for Los Angeles.

Chargers' Justin Eboigbe: Joins rebuilt defense for Bolts
The Chargers selected Eboigbe in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 105th overall.
The fifth-year senior broke out in a major way along the Alabama Crimson Tide's defensive front last season, tallying 11.5 tackles for a loss and seven sacks en route to first-team All-SEC honors. With a prototypical frame (6-foot-4, 297 pounds) and solid burst with his upper body coupled with strong hand speed, Eboigbe projects well as a rotational defensive lineman early on and could push a number of the unassuming veterans above him on the depth chart for immediate playing time.
