Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Tops 50 tackles in 2025
Benton generated 51 tackles (25 solo), including 5.5 sacks, along with a pass defense and a forced fumble while appearing in all 17 regular-season games in 2025.
Benton's production over his first two professional seasons in 2023 and 2024 was incredibly consistent, as he recorded exactly 36 tackles (16 solo), including one sack, during each of his first two years in the NFL. However, he took a sizable step forward in 2025, setting career-best marks in tackles and sacks. The 2023 second-rounder has yet to miss a game in his career and will attempt to build upon his momentum during the final year of his rookie contract in 2026.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Set to suit up Week 15
Benton (ankle) has been cleared of an injury designation for Monday's tilt against the Dolphins.
Benton was limited in practice Friday due to an ankle issue, but he was able to return to full participation Saturday. That clears the way for him to take the field against Miami on Monday Night Football. Benton has yet to miss a regular-season game in his three-year NFL career.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Downgrades to limited Friday
Benton (ankle) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Benton logged a full practice Thursday, so a drop in participation Friday means the nose tackle likely suffered a setback with his ankle injury. The 24-year-old will have one more opportunity to return to full participation in hopes of avoiding an injury designation for Monday night's game against the Dolphins.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Three stops in Week 11 victory
Benton posted three tackles (one solo) during the Steelers' 34-12 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Benton played a season-low 39 defensive snaps Sunday, but that may have been in part due to the Steelers' large lead late in the fourth quarter. The third-year defensive tackle is up to 29 tackles (14 solo), including 4.5 sacks, through 10 regular-season games.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Logs sack in loss
Benton logged seven tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Pittsburgh's loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Benton recorded one of the Steelers' four sacks of Justin Herbert during the loss. After getting off to a slow start this season, the 2023 second-round pick has been more productive as of late, logging 17 tackles (10 solo), including 3.0 sacks, across his last four appearances.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Back to full health
Benton (upper body) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.
The third-year defensive lineman dealt with an upper-body issue late last month, but Benton appears to be past it and should be good to go for Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Jets. Benton appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, making 14 starts, logging 36 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, six pass breakups, including one interception, and one fumble recovery.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Dealing with upper-body issue
Benton is dealing with an upper-body injury, placing some doubt on his availability for Week 1, Chris Halicke of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.
Benton appears to have picked up an upper-body injury during Thursday's 19-10 preseason win over the Panthers. He played nine defensive snaps in the contest, failing to record any stats. Rookie Derrick Harmon (knee) also suffered an injury in the game, so the Steelers could be without two interior defensive linemen in their regular-season opener Sept. 7 versus the Jets.
