Colts' Henry Black: Off to Indianapolis
The Colts signed Black off the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday.
Black had spent the first seven weeks of the season on Indianapolis' practice squad, and the team has now decided to bring the 26-year-old safety back after placing Julian Blackmon (shoulder) on injured reserve Tuesday. Over the course of his pro career, Black has appeared in 25 games, tallying 46 total tackles, two forced fumbles and two pass deflections. The Baylor product hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2021.

Falcons' Henry Black: Four tackles in preseason opener
Black recorded four tackles across 31 defensive snaps during Friday's preseason opener against the Lions.
Black signed a contract with the Falcons in July after a short stint with the Giants, but he has an uphill battle to make Atlanta's initial 53-man roster. The undrafted safety out of Baylor appeared in 17 games for the Packers last year and totaled 38 tackles and one interception across 248 defensive snaps.

Black needed to spend only a day on the COVID list, so he should be good to go Sunday. He'll likely continue his role of providing depth at safety when the Packers host the Vikings.

The Packers placed Black (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
It's not yet clear whether Black has tested positive for COVID-19, but he'll spend some time away from the team. If he's unavailable Sunday against the Vikings, Vernon Scott and Shawn Davis could see slightly increased playing time.

Packers' Henry Black: Records first career interception
Black made three tackles (two solo) and recorded the first interception of his career in Thursday's 24-21 victory over the Cardinals.
Black was on the field for only 13 snaps Thursday, but he made one of the key plays in Thursday's contest, intercepting a Kyler Murray pass deep in Cardinals territory that gave the Packers an easy opportunity to take a 10-point lead early in the second half. Black is not a starter, but he does have a regular role, playing double-digit snaps on defense in all but one game this season.
