Ravens' Tyler Huntley: To remain Jackson's backup
Huntley and the Ravens agreed to a two-year, $11 million contract Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After rejoining the Ravens in October, Huntley served as the direct backup to Lamar Jackson most of the rest of last season, making five appearances (two starts) en route to completing 52 of 67 passes for 426 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushing 24 times for 151 yards and no scores. With this new deal, Huntley will remain the No. 2 QB in Baltimore the next two campaigns.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Maximizes opportunities in 2025
Huntley finished the 2025 regular season completing 52 of 67 attempts for 426 yards and two touchdowns across five appearances.
It was an interesting season for Huntley, who played a key role in keeping Baltimore's season afloat at different stages. He was cut by Cleveland in August and joined Baltimore's practice squad. The Ravens had signed Cooper Rush to be the new backup during the offseason, though, so Huntley's path to seeing the field was almost completely blocked. When Lamar Jackson went down with a hamstring injury against the Chiefs, Baltimore turned to Rush, who finished that game and started against the Texans and Rams. Amid some struggles, though, Baltimore turned to Huntley. He started and won games against the Bears (Week 8) and Packers (Week 17), both of which came at crucial points for the Ravens' postseason chances. Rush is under contract for $2 million next year, so it's unclear what the future holds for Huntley in Baltimore, especially with an entirely new coaching staff coming in.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Manages Baltimore to win
Huntley completed 16 of 20 passes for 107 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Saturday's 41-24 win over the Packers. He added eight rushes for 60 yards.
Derrick Henry powered the Baltimore offense, but Huntley did a passable job filling in for Lamar Jackson (back). He attempted passes almost exclusively in short areas of the field, with only three of his completions going for double-digit yards. Huntley did manage to connect with Zay Flowers for a 10-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter and also picked up 25 yards on a drive just before halftime to help set up another score. Overall, Huntley helped keep the offense on schedule, and he could be under center again for a potentially pivotal Week 18 matchup against Pittsburgh, pending the health of Jackson.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: In line to start for Jackson
With Lamar Jackson (back) inactive, Huntley is slated to start Saturday night's game against the Packers, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Huntley will be making his second start of the season, with Cooper Rush in line to back him up Saturday. While filling in for Jackson in Week 8, Huntley completed 17 of 22 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown and added 53 yards on eight carries in a 30-16 win over the Bears. This time around, in a game the Ravens need to win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive, the veteran signal-caller offers an alternative for those who would normally rely on Jackson in their fantasy lineups, are in Superflex formats or are otherwise in need of QB help in Week 17.

Ravens' Tyler Huntley: Fills in for Jackson
Huntley completed nine of 10 passes for 65 yards in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots. He added two rushes for two yards.
Huntley took over for an injured Lamar Jackson late in the second quarter and managed the team to a pair of scoring drives in the second half. While he passed for a modest yardage total, he kept the offense on schedule, showing strong rapport with DeAndre Hopkins in the process. It's unclear if Huntley will be called upon for Baltimore's Week 17 matchup against the Packers on Saturday night, though the offense may struggle to move the ball in a tough matchup if Jackson remains sidelined.
