  • Reid Sinnett: Gets let go

Sinnett was cut from the Bengals' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Sinnett spent camp with the Bengals, but he was unable to make the team's final 53-man roster. He ultimately got a second chance in Cincinnati and was brought back as a member of the practice squad Sept. 22, when Joe Burrow was dealing with a calf injury. However, with Burrow now healthy, the Bengals are opting to not keep the No. 3 quarterback on their practice squad at this time.

  • Reid Sinnett: Back to practice squad

Sinnett reverted to the Bengals' practice squad Tuesday.

Sinnett was elevated to the active roster prior to Monday's 19-16 win over the Rams, but he ultimately failed to log a snap while serving as the team's third quarterback behind Joe Burrow and Jake Browning. The 26-year-old could end up being let go in the near future considering Joe Burrow (calf) is getting closer to full strength.

  • Reid Sinnett: To be elevated Monday

Cincinnati is expected to elevate Sinnett from its practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday's game versus the Rams, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

With starting quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) a game-time call for Monday Night Football, it makes sense for the Bengals to bring up Sinnett as a contingency plan. Any playing time Sinnett might see would be the first regular-season action of his NFL career.

  • Bengals' Reid Sinnett: Officially elevated

Cincinnati elevated Sinnett from its practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday's game versus the Rams.

Starting quarterback Joe Burrow wants to suit up Monday, but there's still a chance he could be sidelined or otherwise limited in Week 3. Enter Sinnett, who profiles as the Bengals' third option at the position behind Burrow and Jake Browning in case something disastrous happens. He's yet to play a regular-season NFL snap.

  • Reid Sinnett: Joining Cincinnati's practice squad

The Bengals are slated to sign Sinnett to their practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sinnett -- who had a stint with the team this summer, per Adam Schefter of ESPN -- gives the Bengals a depth option at quarterback to call upon should Joe Burrow (calf) be unable to play Monday night against the Rams. In that scenario, Sinnett could be elevated from the team's practice squad to back up Jake Browning.

  • Reid Sinnett: Waived by Cincinnati

The Bengals waived Sinnett on Tuesday.

Sinnett signed with the Bengals in late July but was unable to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster. However, he's a candidate to join a practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

  • Bengals' Reid Sinnett: Inks deal with Cincinnati

Sinnett signed with the Bengals on Sunday.

Sinnett worked out with the Bengals on Saturday -- along with Drew Plitt -- to fill in as the third quarterback with Joe Burrow out for several weeks with a calf strain. Sinnett had practice squad stints with the Buccaneers, Eagles and Dolphins and most recently suited up for the XFL's San Antonio Brahmas this spring. He'll slot behind Trevor Siemian and Jake Browning as a training camp quarterback while Burrow sits out.

  • Reid Sinnett: Cut from practice squad

Miami cut Sinnett from its practice squad Tuesday.

Sinnett joined Miami's practice squad at the beginning of October, but he never saw the active roster despite Tua Tagovailoa, Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson all being injured at some point. Sinnett will look to find a new opportunity elsewhere, but it's certainly a possibility he returns to the Dolphins organization eventually.

  • Reid Sinnett: Signs with Miami's practice squad

The Dolphins signed Sinnett to their practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

After being cut from Philadelphia's practice squad in September, Sinnett is getting another opportunity with a new team less than a month later. Barring another injury in Miami's quarterback room though, the 25-year-old signal caller will likely just spell Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson during practices until Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returns.

  • Reid Sinnett: Joining Miami's practice squad

The Dolphins will sign Sinnett to their practice squad Monday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Sinnett was cut from the Eagles' practice squad in early September, and he'll provide additional depth at quarterback for Miami while Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is sidelined. It's not yet clear whether Sinnett will be elevated to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Jets.
