The Panthers waived Traore (knee) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Traore was set to miss all of 2024 after being placed on the Panthers' IR in late August, but after Monday's injury settlement, he is now free to sign elsewhere once he proves that he's recovered from his knee injury.

Panthers' Badara Traore: Reverts to IR
Traore (knee) reverted to the Panthers' injured reserve list Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Traore hurt his knee in Carolina's preseason opener against New England on Aug. 8 and was waived/injured this Thursday. The offensive tackle cleared waivers and has consequently reverted to IR. Traore will miss the 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Panthers.

Carolina entered Thursday's contest with just seven offensive lineman, per Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site. Traore was able to walk off the field after his injury, and Andrew Raym entered the game in the former's absence, per Gantt.

Badara Traore: Restored to practice squad
Traore (undisclosed) was restored to the Jaguars' practice squad from the unit's injured list Monday.
Traore injured his knee while in training camp with the Bears before being waived, but it is not known if the same issue was the cause of his placement on the practice squad IR. Traore spent all of 2020 on the Bears' practice squad and still has not appeared in an NFL game. He'll try to change that with Jacksonville before the 2021 season ends.

The Jaguars placed Traore (undisclosed) on their practice squad injured list Friday, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
The 24-year-old injured his knee during a training camp practice with the Bears, but he wasn't listed on the injury report when he was released. With Traore now on Jacksonville's practice squad injured list, the team signed fellow offensive lineman Austen Pleasants to the practice squad for depth.

Traore was carted off the field during practice last week after injuring his knee, but the Bears did not list him as injured when he was waived. He was competing for a depth roster spot at offensive tackle.
