Vikings' Jordan Addison: Gets trespassing charge dismissed
Addison is no longer facing a misdemeanor trespassing charge stemming from his Jan. 12 arrest in Tampa after a Florida state attorney filed a termination of prosecution Tuesday, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
With the charge being dropped, Addison is unlikely to face any discipline from the NFL. The wideout has now had three brushes with the law since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2023, as he previously plead guilty to a July 2023 misdemeanor speeding charge and was also arrested on a DUI charge in 2024. When available, Addison has performed well in a complementary role behind Justin Jefferson, but his off-field issues could play a part in whether Minnesota decides to exercise the fifth-year option on his rookie contract this spring. If exercised, the team option would guarantee Addison around $17.5 million for the 2027 season, per OverTheCap.com.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Arrested on trespassing charge
Addison was arrested Monday in Tampa, Fla. on a misdemeanor trespassing charge, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said Tuesday at his annual end-of-season press conference that the team is "always supportive of [...] Addison" but noted that the 2023 first-round pick's off-field incidents are "something we have to consider when you're talking about long-term ramifications of a contract extension and different things like that." Minnesota will have to make a decision about the potential fifth-year option of Addison's rookie deal this offseason, and No. 3 wide receiver Jalen Nailor is also a pending free agent. While Monday's arrest may not result in league discipline or be a major factor in the Vikings' decision regarding an extension, it's notable that the wideout has now had three legal situations arise since entering the NFL. He previously plead guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge related to a July 2023 incident and was also arrested on a DUI charge in 2024. Addison was also suspended the first three games of the 2025 campaign for violating the NFL's substances of abuse policy.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Held quiet in season finale
Addison recorded an eight-yard reception on three targets in Sunday's 16-3 win over the Packers.
Top wideout Justin Jefferson (8-101-0 receiving line on 11 targets) was able to turn in a productive game against a Green Bay squad that was resting several key players ahead of the playoffs, but there little target volume left over for the Vikings' other pass catchers. After serving a three-game suspension to begin his third NFL season, Addison suited up for the final 14 contests and produced a 42-610-3 receiving line on 79 targets while adding 81 rushing yards and another score on two carries. Though his average of 14.5 yards per catch was a career-best mark, Addison took a big step back in Year 3 in terms of touchdown and reception volume, largely due to subpar quarterback play. The wideout's outlook may not be dramatically better in 2026, barring drastic improvement from J.J. McCarthy (hand) or Minnesota looking outside the organization for an upgrade under center.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Takes jet sweep to house in win
Addison failed to catch his only target but took his only carry 65 yards for a touchdown in the Vikings' 23-10 win over the Lions on Christmas Day.
Undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer got the start but threw for only 51 yards, suppressing the production of all the Vikings' pass catchers. Addison was able to salvage his day with his second career rushing TD, as he went the distance on a jet sweep in the fourth quarter -- putting the game away right after Detroit had closed to within a field goal. Addison will end up with career-worst receiving numbers in 2025 due to Minnesota's QB issues, but he'll get one more chance to make an impact Week 18 against the Packers.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Another two-catch outing
Addison caught two of three targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Giants.
Addison couldn't hold onto what would have been a 25-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. He finished a distant second on the team in receiving yards behind Justin Jefferson (85). Minnesota's passing game will be tough to trust Thursday against the Lions, especially if rookie Max Brosmer is thrust into his second NFL start. Brosmer entered after J.J. McCarthy (hand) left Sunday's win in the second quarter.
