Michael Pratt: Back with practice squad
Pratt reverted to the Buccaneers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Pratt operated as the team's emergency third quarterback behind Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask in the team's 31-26 loss to the Falcons, failing to enter the game. Pratt can be elevated two more times before he'd need to be officially signed to the active roster.

Buccaneers' Michael Pratt: Elevated from practice squad
The Buccaneers elevated Pratt from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Pratt, a rookie seventh-round pick, was initially drafted by Green Bay but ended up on Tampa Bay's practice squad after late August roster cuts. It looks like he'll get a chance to work as an emergency No. 3 option behind Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask versus Atlanta on Sunday.

Michael Pratt: Headed to Tampa Bay
The Buccaneers signed Pratt to the practice squad Thursday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Despite being selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Pratt was waived by Green Bay on Tuesday to make room for the acquisition of 2022 third-round quarterback Malik Willis from Tennessee. After clearing waivers, Pratt opted to sign with the Buccaneers, and he'll serve as the practice squad quarterback after John Wolford was waived on Tuesday. If he's elevated to the active roster, Pratt will operate as the Bucs' emergency quarterback and only see the field if both Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask were to sustain injuries in the same game.

Packers' Michael Pratt: Part of team's QB struggles Sunday
Pratt completed 10 of 16 passes for 52 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 27-2 preseason loss to the Broncos. He added one rushing attempt for seven yards.
Sean Clifford started and played the first four drives before Pratt handled the remainder of the game. Neither reserve quarterback led the offense to any points, suggesting that the status quo of Clifford occupying the second spot on the depth chart behind Jordan Love remains intact heading into Green Bay's preseason finale against the Ravens on Saturday.

Packers' Michael Pratt: Joins Green Bay
The Packers selected Pratt in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 245th overall.
The Packers likely wanted to jump in front of the priority undrafted free agent game, locking in the Tulane product with their second to last remaining seventh-round pick. A four-year collegiate starter, Pratt won't be mistaken for a run-first option behind center nor does he have a cannon for an arm, but he's a competitive quarterback who has improved his game significantly after just starting to play football for the first time in high school. It's entirely possible Pratt pushes out the incumbent, Sean Clifford, for the team's backup job behind Jordan Love.
