Johnny King: Cut by Eagles
King did not make the Eagles' 53-man roster and was waived by the team Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
King originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent during the offseason but was eventually let go at the start of training camp. He subsequently found his way to Philadelphia and has been competing for a depth receiving role since. The Southeast Missouri State product ultimately came up short in his quest, and it now remains to be seen if he will get a chance to join the team's practice squad.

Eagles' Johnny King: Finds new opportunity
King signed a contract with the Eagles on Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
King initially joined the Colts this offseason after going undrafted out of Southeast Missouri State. However, he was waived Wednesday, leading to him being able to join Philadelphia. He'll now work to earn in a spot in the team's receiving corps.

Johnny King: Let go by Colts
King was waived by Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The wide receiver signed with the Colts in May after going undrafted out of Southeast Missouri State. King caught 69 passes for 797 yards and six scores during his final collegiate season.
